Branding for Novatech medical company

Novatech is a newly established company for the distribution of medical devices. These devices are used for the advanced form of diagnosis, with great emphasis on the diagnosis of breast diseases. Novatech primarily represents and distributes American products, while also offering Japanese and Western European products. The company will be present on the Croatian and Slovenian markets with the possibility of expanding to other countries in the region. The main activities of the company are sales and installation of medical equipment, education of medical staff, consulting, and the EU project management.

The owners of the company describe themselves as a young, efficient, and motivated team that is capable of solving challenges in the shortest possible time. They didn’t want a name that contained the word “med,” but something new, universal, resonant, and recognizable. Name on which, through systematic work, they could build a strong brand in the future.

Our task was to come up with a name and visual identity. During a month of intensive work of copywriters and consulting with the owners, we came up with a joint name solution. Our name suggestion inspired the owners, and by combining the two words they decided on NOVATECH.

It was important for the design of the logo that it did not contain a symbol and that it was guided by the principle of minimalism, using a unique shade of blue. Our visual identity solution combines tech-inspired custom typography and a gradient line, which will serve as a distinguishing element in different markets.
